Santiago, the capitol city it’s a busy cosmopolitan metropolis, that has two of the best golf courses of the country, and many gourmet and touristic options. Viña del Mar is a beautiful coast city about 90 min drive from Santiago known for its gardens, beaches and architecture. And Torres del Paine, is an impressive National Park in the south of the country, aprox a 3-hour flight from Santiago, with incredible landscapes, lakes and glaciers. These are just some of the great cities and attractions that Chile offers that assure any visitor a great time.

Hello to all my golf friends in Buenos Aires, Gonzalo, Gus and Sebestian! I just wanted to say how thrilled I was to watch Angel Cabrera win the US Open at Oakmont. He played fantastic under very difficult conditions. The others couldn't keep up. All Argentina can be proud of Angel and his stunning performance this weekend. Where you play
These courses are surrounded by mountains and the snow of the Andes range and it counts with two par- 72 courses of 6,800 yards each called "The Mountain" and "The Valley". Both courses can be used by players of all levels. It is an excellent place for rookies to start and practice and at the same time a great challenge for pro-players. Las Brisas de Chicureo was designed by a prestigious American company, Gage Davis and associates, and it is one of the most modern fields in the Country.
Signature hole 18th Hole (Montaña) / Par 5 / 589 yds.
A long par 5 in which it is very important to hit a good drive to, in the case of long hitters, try to reach the green in two. The left water hazard comes into play for both the 2nd and 3rd shot. If the wind blows from left to right, out of bounds to the right is dangerous. Undoubtedly a risk-reward hole.
Playing at Las Brisas de Chicureo is an experience very similar to Palm Springs and Phoenix in the USA. Surrounded by mountains and desert on the sides. It is a style of course that can only be found here and at La Hacienda de Chicureo in Chile. The golf staff are very friendly and they make great sandwiches at the bar on the 9th hole.
It is one of the most traditional golf clubs in Latin America and hosted the first editions of the renowned Copa Los Andes amateur team competition (in the beginning a challenge between Chile and Argentina). It also hosted the Eisenhower Trophy in 1998. Located in the heart of Santiago, Los Leones combines everything a great club needs: an amazing club house, a course that has a fun and challenging design, good food and possibly the best terrace from a club house in the region.
Signature hole 4th hole / Par 5 / 560 yds.
Golf Magazine has once called it one of the best 500 holes of golf in the world. With an out of bounds down the right that runs all along the par 5, this hole demands a lot of precision especially off the tee.
The best way to end a day of golf at Los Leones is to sit in the club house terrace and order one of the many options of sea food dishes that the restaurant offers.
